PiLot was created to solve real problems faced by farmers: tedious fieldwork, lack of timely data, and the need for affordable automation. Every design choice was made with simplicity, reliability, and actual farm use in mind.
The rover is programmed with GPS routes and can be sent out to collect data or perform tasks. It uses sensors to avoid obstacles and streams live video and sensor readings to a dashboard you can access from your phone or laptop.
PiLot helps farmers save time, reduce manual effort, and make better decisions with real data. The project is about bringing technology out of the classroom and into the paddock, where it can make a genuine difference.
